First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in downtown Edwardsville, IL welcomes all to our shared ministry and mission.  As followers of Jesus Christ, we strive in all we do to love God and neighbor with our hearts, minds and souls. 

Rooted in faith with a love to be in relationship with other disciples, we are a church of all ages and walks of life.  Friendly and an extended family would describe our fellowship.

Sunday morning:  

• Fellowship Time at 9:30am features coffee, juice, snacks in Fellowship Hall and lots of fellowship. 
• WORSHIP at 10:00am is a blend of musical styles and traditional liturgy - hymns with organ, praise songs with band, and choir.    
• Sunday School for Children & Youth takes place after the Children's Moment in worship -- Children (K-5) meet on the main floor, Youth (6-12) meet in the lower level. For adults the Loyal U & I class meets at 11:15am in the Parlor.

We share in the Lord's Supper - communion - every Sunday.  The table is open to all who profess Christ.  We are a people of the table!
