Our Staff

We are blessed with an amazing staff!  We are thankful for the experience, skill and passion they each bring to our faith community.

  • Rev. douglas job, intentional interim minister

Doug began his ministry with FCCE in October 2019. Helping congregations through transitions is a passion and pleasure; he’s done interims with congregations in Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, and Georgia. He tries to live a little greener every day and enjoys riding bicycles whenever and wherever he can.

  • macy shriver, youth & children's minister

I am a graduate of Greenville University with my Bachelor’s degree in both, English and Spanish. I am known for my passionate and excited approach towards life. Whether we are just having fun, going on an adventure, or praising God, I am all in. I love traveling and experiencing God with others. I have taken several trips to Costa Rica, a place God has put on my heart dearly. Along with that, I love working with people and have had numerous opportunities to work with children of all ages. It is such an honor and a blessing to be a part of the First Christian Church of Edwardsville.

  • Ms. Danielle Castelli, Accompanist

Danielle has been playing piano for FCCE since fall of 2013. She took piano lessons from ages 5 to 18 and began playing professionally at the age of 21. Although Danielle has played piano for the high school band and college-level courses, her greatest passion is playing for God.

  • Mr. Denis Doelling, organist

Mr. Doelling is a member of the St Louis chapter of the American Guild of Organist. We have been blessed by Denis' sharing of the faith in worship through his masterful musicianship.

  • Lindsey Folsom, keyboardist

  • ms. Carolyn jenkins choir director

Beginning December 3, Carolyn Jenkins will be our new Choir Director

  • ms. Teresa Droste  administrative Assistant

My name is Teresa Droste and I am very happy to be part of the staff at First Christian Church.  I am blessed with being married over 40 years to the same wonderful man, have two grown daughters, and two school-age grandchildren.  My work background includes working at Olin and Monsanto. I have experience in International IT, Credit, Accounts Receivable and Payables.  I retired from Monsanto.  I also volunteer at BJC Hospice inputing some of their client data.  I enjoy reading and quilting.

  • Mr. warren lomax, custodian

Warren splits his work time between Madison County Schools and First Christian Church. You wouldn’t know it from his quiet, thoughtful presence on Sunday mornings, but Warren has truly embraced Ephesians 5:19: “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord”—he inspires us during the week by praying in chant and song while he cares for our church house.
