Christian Unity is our Polar Star!

We witness to God's love better when we share ministry with other faith communities.

We believe that God calls us to these expressions of unity and wholeness

as a sign of hope in the midst of a fragmented world.

Here is more about our denomination and local ecumenical connections.

  • THe Christian Church (Disciples of CHrist)

As members of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), we confess that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, and proclaim him Lord and Savior of the world. This knowledge guides all we do.

Our Protestant denomination was founded on the frontier of the United States in the early 1800s. With our sister congregations across the USA and Canada, we engage in ministries of reconciliation, compassion, education, worship, and fellowship local, regionally, and nationally. • Glen ed ministerial alliance

We are an active participant in this ministry of the churches in Glen Carbon and Edwardsville.  In addition to supporting the Glen Ed Pantry, this ministry assists with the emergency needs of transients and homeless persons.  Most recently, this organization has been working with local social service and government agencies to create a more effective safety net for those in need.
