This Christmas, the Loyal U & I Class is providing Schnucks gift cards to be given to 18 Edwardsville Head Start families. These gift cards in the amount of $75 each will assist in a good Christmas dinner along with a message of hope and support to needy families. The class uses their yearly offerings as seed money for this project while also inviting the congregation to assist in making this a reality.
Donations of all amounts are welcome. Special envelopes are in the Narthex. Donations will be collected Nov. 27 - Dec. 11: Sent to the church office, dropped off to the class on Sundays, or placed in the offering plates. Checks should be made out to the “Loyal U & I Class,” with "gift cards" in the memo line.
We are assisting 2 Edwardsville School District families with Christmas gifts. Check out the display in the Narthex for specifics — gift tags with the children’s ages/sex/sizes/need/wants. There are also tags for general family needs.
