abbey road warriors:  the beatles for kids & formerly kids

Thursday, July 29, 10 am

First Christian Church, 310 S Main Street, Edwardsville IL 62025

Formed in 2010, Abbey Road Warriors is not your typical “look-alike, dress-alike” Beatles tribute band. The four musicians are also not newcomers to the St. Louis music scene, being long-time members of local favorites the Bob Kuban Band, Everyday People, The Arrivers, The Frilly & Miller Show, The Metro Brass, Trilogy, Rockin’ Chair and Captain Jack. Brought together by a mutual love for The Beatles’ music and friendship, this has been a “dream band” for Jack Miller, Doug Carson, Dave Sweet and Steve Hoover. Their songlist is over 140 strong and continues to grow. Abbey Road Warriors play the music of the Fab Four with a passion and love that is appreciated by all who have heard them perform. The band is featured in several area Summer Park Concerts and played for over five thousand Beatles fans at Faust Park. ARW is a celebration of the music many of us grew up with and love so dearly. Sing along – you know the words!
