seeking a Director of choirs

Purpose: To assist in creating an inclusive and loving faith community that equips members and guests to share their gifts for music and musical leadership in worship.

Expectations: The Choir Director is responsible for the choral ministries, including:

The Chancel Choir which sings at the 9:00am worship service

The Praise Choir which sings at the 10:30am worship service

Any additional music ministries that may be developed

The Choir Director is under the supervision of the Lead Minister.

These responsibilities will require approximately 10 hours per week. Additional time may be required during the year for special services, which may include but are not limited to Christmas and Easter. (Cantata preparation, special services on Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Christmas Eve, etc.). 



Familiarity with Classical and Contemporary Christian Music

Direct Choral Groups / Competent Leadership

Compliance with our Employee Manual


The Choir Director will receive:

A salary of (to be negotiated) per month for a 12 month period per calendar year.

Use of the facility for teaching purposes..

Other compensation / vacation / etc is articulated in the Employee Manual.
